This policy explains what Glauria collects and why, including what stays stored locally on your device and what we send to our servers to power your agent's decisions.
Introduction
Glauria ("we", "us") builds a self-hosted LinkedIn prospecting client that runs on your own computer. This policy covers the account and billing data we hold, the LinkedIn session and conversation data Glauria's local client handles on your behalf, and the prospect data your agent processes to reach people for you.
Information we collect
We collect three kinds of data. Early access data: the email address you give us to request early access, so we can notify you when it opens. Account data: your name, email address, and billing details if you upgrade to a paid plan once Glauria is generally available. Local client data: your LinkedIn session, the profiles your agent views, and the messages it drafts and receives, stored on your device. Prospect data: the public LinkedIn profile information and activity signals of the people your agent qualifies and contacts on your behalf.
How we use it
Account data is used to authenticate you, operate your subscription, and provide support. We do not sell your data or your LinkedIn activity to third parties. We do not train, and will never train, our models on your data.
Local-first data storage
Glauria's core value is that it runs on your machine using your real residential session, not a shared server. Your LinkedIn session and conversation data are stored locally on your device rather than in a persistent company database. Only the data relevant to a decision is sent to our backend, over encrypted connections, to drive your agent's decisions: qualifying a lead, drafting a message, or deciding what happens next. Account and billing data is stored on our servers as described above.
Data about the people you contact
To find, qualify, and reach the right people, your agent processes public LinkedIn profile information and activity signals about the people you choose to contact. We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis for this business-to-business processing. If someone you contacted wants their information removed from our systems, they, or you on their behalf, can reach us at hello@glauria.com.
Third-party services
Glauria interacts with LinkedIn on your behalf, subject to LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy. We also use standard infrastructure providers for hosting, billing (e.g. payment processors), and support tooling. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function.
Data controller
Glauria is the data controller for the account and billing information described in this policy. For questions about how your data is controlled or processed, contact us using the details below.
International transfers
Where account data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to ensure it remains protected to the same standard.
Cookies
Our website uses a minimal set of cookies required for authentication and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Retention
Session and conversation data stored locally on your device stays under your control. Delete it at any time from within the app. Data shared with our backend to power a specific decision is kept only as long as needed to complete that decision. Account and billing data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Your rights (GDPR & similar)
Depending on where you live, you have the following rights over your personal data.
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we process your data while a request is under review.
- Portability: request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Object: object to processing based on legitimate interest, including the prospect data described above.
Automated decision-making
Your agent uses automated scoring to help qualify leads and draft messages. This does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you, and you control your agent's autonomy at every step, from reviewing every message to letting it run on its own. To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at hello@glauria.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data breach notification
If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.
Children's privacy
Glauria is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice on this site before they take effect.
